I have the 11 and I don't mind it. as long as your system is near the tv you shouldn't have problems with the wires. One single wire leading to the tv that splits to the audio and a usb port (presumably to the 360)

the one I have works across the board. 360, PS3. even regular tv and Wii or music. (although the mic has no function with those. I'm willing to bet that it works for PC too. I think that most (if not all) TB head sets are fairly universal. *shrugs*

Thanks everyone. I just pick up a set of the x3 wireless. I am with solo it is kinda hard to speak when you can not understand what most everyone is saying. I hope these help. Ebay baby 48 buck shipping included. Not to bad.

I recently p/u a TB X11 wired headset. I love the sound & volume controls, & can deal with the wires. Even great to use during single player.

To all of you Turtle Beachers....you convinced me to invest in a pair of X11s....they're pretty darn cool so far....Thanks....It's great to have so many people participating in topics like these to genuinely help other members out....You guys always come up strong when us new guys are looking for advice.

Young, I did some research on the buzzing noise....everyone said that you when you use the charge and play wire, you need to make sure your voice settings for the xbox are set for "headset only"....Supposedly you can not play the voice chat through your headset and tv/sound system speakers at the same time while also charging the controller or you get the buzzing noise....this was the theory all over the interwebnet thingy....note I have not heard the buzzing yet at all....I could not MAKE it happen no matter what I did....

Has anyone tried the Turtle Beach X41 surround sound headphones? They're 200 buh, and I'd like to hear some positive feedback (puns anyone?) before I make that sort of purchase.
